This is a cornbag!
How do you use it?

Most easily, you heat it up in the microwave for one to two minutes. The heat should be intense and pleasant. A hot Cornbag smells similar to fresh bread. Without a microwave, you can use an oven for approximately 10-15 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius or you can warm the cornbag on a radiator.

Occasionally, you can take out the content bag and wash the cover with 40 degrees Celsius.

Hi, there!

My name is David. I am the "CEO" of CornBags.ch 😜 . I am running this business because I personally use cornbags almost every day. They are a very practical thing, quite underrated in Europe, but very well known in the United States. I got my fist cornbag from my Oklahoma grandparents.

History of the Cornbag:

"As legend has it, in an old rural Oklahoma farm house, the cold nights were made warm with a corn sack. During the day, a large pan of shelled corn warmed under the kitchen woodburning stove. Before bed, mom would distribute the corn sacks, one for each family member. That hot corn sack warmed the bed, feet, or anything for quite a while. Every morning, before breakfast, the corn was returned to the pan under the stove to warm for the next evening's use."

Production:

All our cornbags are made by hand here in Bern, Switzerland. My grandmother was a master seemstress and I can use some of her old equipment. It is still quite a challenge to get things straight. But I am working on that...

Best Quality:

We only use organic corn with biosuisse certification. It is specially separated and cleaned leaving only the best part without dust and broken pieces.
For the cloth of our cornbags we use natural materials like cotton, linen, and viscose. The inner cover is light and firm while the outer sleeve is thick and soft. You can wash the outer sleeve. The inner cover with the corn filling must be kept dry at all times.
